Who we are

Trevor Snell Insurance ("we," "us," "our") is an independent insurance agency operated by Trevor Snell, a licensed insurance producer (NPN 5457367), based at 4335 S Noal Dr, Millcreek, UT 84124. This policy explains what information we collect through trevorsnell.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

This is not a government website. We are not associated with or endorsed by Medicare, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), or any other government agency.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to give us through forms on this Site, including:

• Contact and identifying information: name, phone number, email address, mailing address, and date of birth.
• Medicare-specific information (Medicare Quote Request, Scope of Appointment): your Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI) if you choose to provide it, current coverage details, medications and pharmacy preferences, doctors and hospitals you'd like to keep, and your coverage priorities. Providing your MBI is always optional — it is only needed if and when you decide to enroll.
• Small-group census information: company details (name, address, tax ID) and, for each covered employee or dependent, name, date of birth, relationship, gender, ZIP code, and current coverage information, submitted by the employer requesting a quote.
• Communications: anything you send us directly, such as emails or messages.
• Usage data: like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, general location by IP, device/browser type). This is aggregate, non-identifying usage data — it is not linked to the information you submit in a form unless you submitted that form during the same browsing session.

We do not knowingly collect information from children. This Site is not directed at, and should not be used by, anyone under 18.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Follow up with you personally about the insurance products or information you requested;
• Search available plans and prepare quote comparisons on your behalf;
• Complete required Medicare compliance documentation, such as a Scope of Appointment, before discussing specific plan options;
• Maintain records as required by CMS and state insurance regulations (Scope of Appointment records are retained for 10 years, as CMS requires);
• Submit your information to the carrier or general agency only if and when you decide to enroll or request a formal group quote — for example, through Sunfire, HealthSherpa, Simplicity, or Stone Hill;
• Send you a text, call, or email in response to a form you submitted, consistent with the consent language shown on that form.

How we share your information

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with other insurance agencies, agents, or marketing lists. Specifically:

• Information you submit goes directly into our own customer relationship management (CRM) system, which only Trevor Snell Insurance can access.
• We do not share your information with our field marketing organization (FMO) or any credit union partner unless and until you decide to enroll in a plan and we submit your application through the applicable carrier platform — at that point, the carrier necessarily receives what's required to process your enrollment.
• We use third-party service providers to operate this Site and our CRM (for example, our website/CRM platform and Google Analytics). These providers process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
• We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Trevor Snell Insurance or others.

Text messages and phone calls

If you provide your phone number and check the consent box on one of our forms, you agree that a licensed insurance agent may contact you by phone, text, or email — including using automated dialing or texting technology — about the coverage options you asked about. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Consent is never a condition of purchasing any product. You can revoke your consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message or by contacting Trevor directly using the information below.

Cookies and analytics

This Site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies and collects standard web usage data to help us understand and improve the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on. We do not currently use advertising or retargeting cookies on this Site.

Data retention and security

We keep the information you submit until you ask us to delete it or stop contacting you, or — if longer — for as long as needed to provide the services you requested and to meet legal and regulatory recordkeeping requirements (for example, Scope of Appointment records are kept for 10 years per CMS rules). We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what personal information we have collected about you;
• Correct inaccurate information;
• Delete your information, subject to our legal recordkeeping obligations (for example, we may need to retain Scope of Appointment records even after a deletion request);
• Stop contacting you — reply STOP to any text, or simply tell Trevor directly.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — though as noted above, we do not sell or share your information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below.

We reserve the right to decline a request that is frivolous, made in bad faith, or that we cannot verify came from you, and we will tell you why if we do.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
